About me

My name is Delanie and I’ve never met a cat I didn’t like. I experienced my first feline bond at age 12 with a cat who adopted our family (you read that right). Her companionship taught me how to communicate with cats, value their personalities, and cherish their love. When she crossed over the rainbow bridge in 2018, I knew she changed my life forever—my grief was love with nowhere to go, and the love was cat-shaped.

I started Pure Purr to meet, care for, and love the cats in my Seattle neighborhood. After adopting my current kitty in 2022, I searched popular sites for cat care, finding that there were lots of sitters specializing in dog care, but none tailored specifically to cats. Pure Purr is proud to serve feline-only clientele in the Queen Anne, Fremont, SLU, and Interbay neighborhoods. I have experience with asthmatic cats, cats with kidney disease, kitten training, and senior kitties. Read my reviews on Rover.
